SAGAS


The Southern Area Group of Astronomical Societies was set up over 30 years ago as a loose federation of all groups in the South-East region, to get together and discuss their news and views and share problems and advice at a committee level.

A new Working Group was created in 2007 to drive SAGAS forward and to formalise the group.

Finally, on the 16th October 2010 HantsAstro was accepted unanimously by their committee as a member of SAGAS. The HantsAstro CoreTeam look forward to attending future meetings whereby we can learn and collaborate with the regional astro-community, and share our experiences too.
